Silas Baxter-Neal grew up in and around the Oregon countryside. Somehow he found skateboarding along the way.
Years later, he moved to San Francisco for some months and was spotted in videos such as "Season 2" and Thrasher's "Rocket Science".

The industry caught on, and Silas ended up on the teams of Habitat Skateboards and éS Footwear.
Before pursuing a skateboard career, he worked in different kitchens and did some construction work.

Then he was named Thrasher's 'Rookie of the Year' in 2008 and was offered a spot on Adidas Skateboarding, alongside legends like Mark Gonzales and Tim O'Connor.

Silas is a consistent power-house, that will skate anything. Stairs,rails,ramps,wallies or mannies - it doesn't matter to Silas - he will rip anything to pieces.
After his Habitat "Inhabitants" part and a massive amount of coverage in different skateboard media, he was awarded Skater of the Year in 2008 by Transworld Skateboarding.

His favourite city to skate is Barcelona, and for non-skating, he mentions Portland, Oregon.
